I know their end links and filters aren't something you'd want.

^ Review thread. It will tell you what everyone thinks of their parts. Not the most flattering reviews. They are ok, but definitely not great.

Their catch can is the suck. Had the old style inlet and is was "ok". Their header and exhaust is probably the best products they make.

I have their CAI, sways, endlinks, and AP stage 1 maps.

-The foam filter for the CAI is pretty bad. You can see right through it but there are plenty of other cone filter replacements on the market

-I had the sways and endlinks installed by a reputable Subaru shop and they said these were quality parts, although the endlinks are more of a racing design so they will make some noise.

-I haven't blown my motor from their AP maps so no complaints there.

I have Perrin up, down, exhaust, recirculating bov, CAI, and wastegate. Tuned on stage 2. No problems whatsoever and have had this setup for a while. Planning to use their stealth black fmic for next step in upgrade. Will let you know if any problems ensue.

Edit for me. I have the complete recirc, and the inside needle valve has loosened a couple times. Causing a compression surge or something. So most likely will be going back to stock. Other than that, love the rest of the products I have purchased. Have a wastegate, but I haven't installed yet. Wanna wait to get the green, and the FMIC.

I know this is a dumb question, but the Perrin recirculating BOV is silent, right? (like the stock BPV)

It doesn't have to be tuned for either? (because it acts the same as a BPV)

There's an adjustable cap that you can either have a harder or softer release. The harder is more like the BPV sound. Doesn't make an air sound until the shift. The softer setting is more of a hissing noise during all turbo play. Somewhere in the middle is the ricer noise. I prefer to have as little noise as possible so i have it set to a harder setting.

    Perrin Endlinks:

Build quality is good...but the mounting bolts and hardware blows. Torques to spec when I installed them and my rear sway on my 07STI...about a month later, the mounting bolts shot out of both sides. I hadn't noticed that the endlinks weren't connected until I had to get a tire repaired. I hadn't done much spirited driving, so I didn't notice the body roll. I had to fab up some bolt action with lock nuts and washers from Home Depot to repair.

Also the sway bar Stout Mounts are garbage. Soft ass Aluminum that stripped inside the bolt holes...after a month after installing them, I shot out a couple bolts and the sway detached from the frame at the mounts...BOTH OF THEM!!!

I will not be going back to Perrin for suspension mods. Cobb, Cusco, or Whiteline for me in that regard.

^ I've heard nothing but good things about Cusco and Whiteline. Will most likely go that way with my suspension.

This unit avoids all the pitfalls of the a vent-to-atmosphere BOVs, as used on a WRX? (ie, messing up the metered A/F ratio inputs)

I have to revise my review of their endlinks...I broke one. The top of the link at the pivot broke right off. No clue how it happened since I haven't driven the car agressively.
