e46 m3 vs. my r32

lets just say, from a stop, it would take him to 80 or so to start pulling on me. From a roll, i was seeing his taillights till they were too small to see. Damn, those things have a lot of balls, and he was stock.

guys, im giving my r32 to my brother, and selling the wrx (w/ 2.5 block) and getting an e46 m3.

Wow selling the R32 because he lost to an E46 M3?? Why. I mean if you got the money to burn? But E46's are not a problem for me. I have no problem with them. I guess if you want the luxury with some performance? they are one of the most beautiful car's ever in my mind.

But from what ive read about your post's you like to race. STi's and Evo's lightly modded are going to beat M3's all day long. I have a feeling your going to get pissed because the E46 Engine is pretty much maxed out on potential.

I say by a C5 corvette. You will save money and have much better potential for ton's of power. I agree the E46 is such a sweet car.

well, its either that or a used m5. its fast enough, faster than my r32. faster from a roll than stock sti's and evo's and thats good too. Modifications, i could really care less... for now.

eh, dont feel to bad about the loss. An M3 is an excellent performance machine.

as for selling your R32, if you can afford the M3 or M5, then by all means GO FOR IT! those are 2 cars I would love to have and have always wanted. just remember how expensive they can be to fix if you are not buying new

If you only concern is speed, I would tell you to get an Evo, but if you currently drive an R32 and are looking at M3's then the Evo interior will more than likely be worthless to you. Just turbo the R32 already

After thinking it over. If I had the money, I would keep the Evo for my Daily and get a used good condition 03/04 cobra. 1000>mods gets you close to 450rwhp

i know they are expensive to fix up, thats why if i go used, im gonna find one with low miles and warranty. Evo and stis are completely different from the m3. Im looking for power and luxury, evo and sti's is raw power and modifying capabilities. The m3 has pretty much been my dream car for quite some time... thats why im leaning towards the m3.

I heard an R32 pass me on the freeway and boy does that exhaust sound beautiful. One of the best exhaust notes on any current car.

Go M5. Larger car, 400hp V8, beautiful looking. You have a lot of compact cars in your stable. Time to give your SL500 a brother.

thats all i hear, go m5... go m5. Maybe i need to drive one to really feel it. I still like the m3 because i like the look better. though 390 snarling horsepower in the m5 does sound nice.
