1st kill of the year 04 MAXIMA

    Ahhh...I'm back...well sort of.

I had my first real race in over 4 months...Oh my god has it been needed.

This however was not in my wrx...It was in my 00 GTP...YEAH...american muscle.

But I was suprised. From a 30mph roll, I pulled a 1/2 car on the maxima to 120mph. Not too shabby. Then from a dead stop...yes I raced from a dead stop. I pulled on him. He couldnt drive. He just spun and I just went...The look on his face was again priceless as they always are.

AHHH...the first of many kills this year...wait till my first kill in my wrx

congrats on the first kill of the season

I am suprised you pulled from a roll though. The maxima traps considerably higher than a GTP. The win from the dig is no suprise though

    From what I hear though the coupe's trap a bit higher...some say around 95mph stock...but eh...who knows.

    I miss my wrx ..

yeah, now that I think of it, the maxima was probably auto and fully loaded which would entail a 94mph trap or so where as a GTP can trap as high 93/94.

anyways, I cant wait to hear about your new kill stories this summer... Seems that every year you upgrade so we get to hear about you killing faster cars, year by year

    Well here are my plans

GTP + $800 in mods = 60-70 whp...plus tq. Not to bad..should be pretty nice

WRX + oh boy = I'm going for an elite whp club ...at least for wrx/sti's.

This year will be fun ...or I will break alot of parts trying.

woohoo! chalk up one kill for the boat

Have you done any mods to the GTP yet? And was that 270wtq figure from it when it was stock? I've heard that the torque figures on the GTP's were WAY underrated (hence why our trannies break so easily )

Also, have you registered on clubgp.com yet? I'm "uke" over there as well
    06 GTO - yeah, it's pretty quick

there are *some* people that get mid 14's... the GTP's have a fair amount of factory freaks, but yeah you are right... generally you are going to see times between 14.9-15.1
Its not suprise you took one with your rex.. The GTP is no match for a rex in stock form
