    from www.jaydm.com
Thats a long block and I believe the full swap.

    190Hp 156Trq 10.0 Compression (USDM)

H22 is cheaper. I'm going the cheapest, and most reliable route. K20 would be sweet though.

Ha, you guys sound like me. I just bought a 92 Si hatch for my daily driver. I'm trying to tell myself not to do a swap. The current d16 runs fine, it just needs some bodywork. Picked her up for $600 though, so I guess I can't complain too much.

H22a is not a good option. The oil pan wont have enough ground clearance for daily driving. Stick with a b18c. I've done H22a before and have left the oil pan on the ground several times.

Then your car was way too low. My friend daily drives his H22A and it works fine.

My civic wasn't dropped or anything. Just stock looking. Clearance between the oil pan and the floor was about 3 inches. What I'm saying is, you can drive it around town but if you hit a small pot hole, bump or rough roads, say good buy to your oil pan. You also can't corner hard with the H22a either, scratch the oil pan. This has been seen many times with H22a swaps. That is why people who do frequent swaps go with the B18b or c.

That's everybodies problem, it's their buddies car. Wait till you do it then you'll know. Your buddies don't want to tell you the side effects of their cars, it's their preciouse baby, why would they tell you the ill effects. And nothing was wrong with my car, it was installed correctly. H22a's just sit a little low.

H22 is cheaper than the GSR. Dont listen to the guy saying he scrapes his oil pan, Ive never seen such an instance and driven my buddies hatch many times. Turning doesn't change either really, your not gaining that much weight over the B18, its like 30 some odd pounds.
