Test Drove AA tuning Turbo M3

A firend of mine works at a dealership with a AA tuning Turbo M3. I am pretty sure it is an 01. I know the guy who used to own it and he had it shipped to florida to do the setup. He has about $86,000 of his parents money invested in it. The interior is all stock, the exterior has nice rims and a carbon fiber hood. I could not tell what else was aftermarket on the outside b/c i do not know a lot about M3s. The engine bay looks like the bay from the WRC rally car. It is sooooo clean and everything is polished chrome. I got to test drive it. When I first got on the highway I could already tell this car was really fast. I let it warm up for a few mins then I got on it. I swear I was doing about 75 in 2nd gear, This car would pull nonstop from about 3000 rpms. The salesman did not really know too much about the tech specs but he could get a hold of them if he needed to.

To compare it on the butt dyno, this car would murder my Cobb 2.5 by at least a bus, then he would hit about 110 and just run away from me.

I just wish i had the $31,000 to buy it

The previous owner of the car now has a single turbo supra with a little over 900 hp and a S2000 stock, and an Xterra for the winter. I wish my rents had a lot of money. I am jealous.

How can you easily tell the difference? I am pretty sure it was a newer looking body style.

It did have duals but I know it was an aftermarket exhaust so it could have been either. But either way it was REALLY FAST.

Active Autowerke supercharges the E46 but can equip the E36 with a turbo.
