    Thanks Ryan.

    It's in his initial post. Basically intake, exhaust, engine management are his mods.

    TurboWill

    Hey TurboWill you need to have Al recommend a few more mods he can definitly get you where you need to be. Al tuned my car and with just ecutek and dp / itg drop in filter = 280 + awhp and 293 + awtrq @ 17 lbs. So it won't take much to get to those numbers, currently I am now catless and walbro fuel pump so I need to do a dyno and post. I think the main reason you lost ground is the Sti torque gets a good jump off the line. But I think the Evo is a better base for all out mods and power!!!

    STi launches better. Atleast with my stock clutch. Over the winter I'm going with New clutch and Flywheel.

    Will vs Ryan

    Evo=0
    STi=2

    Ryan(STIGUY) and I ran again last night. His STi is real quick. Ran twice both times he jumped out and kept pulling. Had atleast 3-4 cars by 5th gear. Hey Ryan can't wait for my mods to go in. Then we can have round 3

    Get a full TBE and then play! No need for cams unless you want to make some seriouse power. Cams idle really bad..... Engine shakes alot.

    only idles bad if you're not tuned right.... i do agree leave those sti's alone till you atleast get a TBE.... and i would still get the cams and get a good shop to tune them on the dyno. one of my best mods yet.

    Man, I've seen everyones cammed EVO that's suppose to be tuned right and they all violently shake back and forth with that lopeing idle. You can put a full, I repeat a full glass of water on my valve cover (while idleing) and not a drop of water will spill. On a cammed EVO, I wouldn't even put an empty glass on top of the valve cover because it will fall off and break while the egines idling.

    I run 272's, my car has an Idle that would Fool Mitsu into thinking it was stock. IT IS ROUGH when you start it cold, but after a warm up, it idles so smooth it is unbelievable, it also allows me to make power to 8000 RPM's on a Stock turbo with NO drop off in power, boost does drop from 21PSI to about 19PSI. After 8000 it just dies, 16G can't do everything you know .

    IT IS ALL in tuning. I happen to have, IMHO, the best Evo/DSM tuners in the country Conveniently located 30MINS from my house.
