    Scion TC Not fast!

Well I have never raced one before or ever been in one. I was told that they were pretty fast cars. This morning on the way to work a younger looking kid in a TC with a 30 day tag, kept pulling up beside me and then hammering the gas and letting of over and over trying to get me to race him, so from about 50 mph when he hammered it again I through it in 3rd and nailed it. WHERE DID HE GO?? I went passed him so fast i didnt even have time to toss a sinister glare at him! Then a half a mile up the road we hit a light. And he starts telling me that he will rip me out of the hole! He must have been very young and naive. So When the light turned green i proceeded to hand him his a$$. I let off at 60 no need to waste the gas! So for anyone thinking they are fast. There not that fast.

They run like 15.70s. Peppy, but not fast.

My kid brother just bought one. Not a performance car. But it's a great car for 16K.

well they are weak with only 160 HP...........but iv also heard that TRD is making a Factory S/C for it that would boost it up to 200 HP. which will still probly lose to a WRX but it will make it quicker..............BTW the only thing i like on those cars is the sweet Sunroof....the whole roof pulls back its nice
