The review you saw is by some guy who got ahold of the car and ran it down a track for a magazine. In the "real world" drivers who get to know their cars better, learn perfect shift points, etc... will run much better times usually. Car and driver runs 13.7's with WS6's and when a real enthusiest gets a hold of it, they are pulling low 13's all day long!
as I said above, many redline owners are getting times of 14.7/14.8 and with the cobalt weighing in at nearly 150lbs less I can easily believe that it is running 14.5/14.6's. The car makes nearly 200whp and with how much it weighs there is no reason at all that it should not be making 1/4mile times of mid 14's

Several Gtech users have gotten 5.6s or so, otherwise not many of us know because you can't get that info at the track, or we have to rely on stopwatches.

No they trap 95mph.

Wish mine could do that...best it could do was 14.5@92.07 2.0 60ft....I have yet to see a stocker trap near 95...

At around 1,200' elevation at Firebird in Phoenix, I saw a stock WRX (had a catback, I think...that's it) trap 94mph.

yes they do.

Some factory freaks at very low elevations might hit 95mph. But 99% of the time, a stock rex will be in the 92-94mph at best. A stock wrx's top end power is nothing to brag about and 95mph is a little bit reaching for the stars. With minor mods, like a cat-back and maybe a boost controller, then yeah 95mph is very believable but in stock form i really doubt it.

go read the NASIOC drag forum there's plenty of guys stock running 94-95mph.
