GC vs CAMARO SS....

teh other day JOUBTT n' I were cruising on teh 8 freeway then all of a sudden a white camaro ss (don't know what year) pulled along side n' kept pace. i knew he wanted to run. he dropped back, got on my rear n' turned on his hazards. then went along side again.

i dropped her in 4th then 3rd. we both were doing a lil' over 70mph. i waited for him to go 1st then i went. he couldn't pull on me, then i shifted to 4th n' teh same thing. then we shut down cuz of cars, he then had to exit.

too bad he had to exit i wanted to play some more. i know he would have pulled on me hard on higher speeds. good times....

Well, that's technically a "GM" and not a "GC" because it's a coupe, but that's not too important. I was just making sure that we were taking about the same car. The engine swap was what I was really curious about because I know my GC would never keep up with my Trans Am. EJ205 I presume? Good kill! I can't wait to do my engine swap now! Where did you get yours done? Any details would be greatly appreciated.

i hate callin' it a GM, we all call it GC sounds better.... ja ja
i had it done at a shop that is no longer in business. teh shop screwed alot of people around teh country, perhaps u've heard of them, SXPi.
i see yer located in OHIO. no1 does swaps there?
call up kevin of GARAGE TUNNING, he is good and knows his sh1t. see if u can workout something with him. checkout his site.

teh swap is so worth it. i like when peoples' jaw drop when they get passed by a lil' 4 banger. it's priceless....

Rallispec did the swap & tranny rebuild, I was about due it had 94k miles. I'll prob stick with this setup for a year or so then jump to an 18g with fmic, might as well since I've got the RAs in there already.

How much did Rallispec charge for just the labor of the swap, if you don't mind me asking? They're probably the closest to me, but if they're extremely expensive I might go to Garage Tuning or IA or Kingpin or something.
