    R32 vs EVO

Going to work this morning. Im on the prkway. I see a blue R32 merge on and take off.
I'm like yes some game . I catch up to him and get right behind him, in his rear view mirror. We are doing about 75mph, so he floors it, so do I. I downshift to 4th and easily pull even, shift into 5th and walk him like a dog, 4 car lead and I shut down at 120. He flew by and kept going. I was happy and just kept cruising on... There were no cars on the prkway so it was a safe run

My mods> basic tuning and intake.
    R32 looked stock.

    Nice kill

I ran into one of those for the first time at a stoplight the other day. The guy was a bit older but smiled and wanted to see what would happen. I took him off the line and put about a cart length on him before we had to shut it down. I was a bit surprised considering the AWD thing, but I don't think he launched all that hard.

What are 0-60 times for the STI and EVO?? I was just surprisewd becausae my M is obviously RWD and I still walked away, a better launch would have insured a whole shot for him, but that would not have lasted for long

if launch right, STi/EVO will do 0-60 in 4.7-4.9 sec.

Update. This weekend I ran into another blue R32. I noticed he had an aftermarket exaust. We got the light. Ok I had a decent launch=we were even. shifted into second=still even. missed third he pulled a bit then I slowly walked him. I was impressed.

Not sure if he had any other mods besides exaust. R32 sounded real goood. Nice car. Maybe next weekend we will meet again
