    if you we're stock, think you would have been beat? also they don't make VR6's anymore so it couldn't be brand new, and the lastmodel motor was a 24V 200HP

    stock wrx should beat stock VR6 but VR6 will close distance at higher speeds

    from a dig, yes. From a roll, the VR6 traps a bit higher and if you are going over 100mph the distance will just get greater.
