05 Mustang GT

Has anyone gotten a chance to run a 2005 Mustang GT? I am thinking about ditching the idea of a rex for a mustang. Of course the two are totally different cars but either way its a no lose situation in either car

I saw the other day at the Ford Fun Weekend in Fontana. I was Bad @ss. I was talking to the ford Rep. and he said it has out handled a 03 Cobra. I own a 94GT with 400 ponies and I'm worried how that thing is going to run.

I've seen quite a few around here. I live in Ford country really close to proving grounds/test track. They are alwayts going the opposite direction. The only gripe I have is they made it look too much like an old Mustang that it doesn't look a lot like a modern car. It definitly sounds like the new Mustang GT will be bada$$.

I've seen one on the road and I think they look cool except for the baja lights in the middle of the grille. Get rid of those, throw some nice wheels on it and I think it looks badasp!

Dealerships in Chicago should start seeing them within the next two weeks. None on them on the streets yet here (in the hands of a regular citizen, anyway...).

I'd like to test drive one and check it out...

I remember seeing the new design at the 01 Detroit autoshow and have wanted one since then. Went and looked at one at the dealership yesterday. The WRX will be history in the next few weeks and I will get the new GT. The dealership offered to sell theirs at MSRP but I will wait until they get a little closer to invoice and I get the exact options I want. So, goodbye Subaru and hello Blue Oval (never thought I would say that ).

They have a dealer mark up on them right now (anywhere from 2K to 3.2K). Originally ford told em to hold em but demand is so high they said F*** IT SELL EM ALL. Plus everyone knows these cars will be a dime a dozen in no time so not many people are thrilled about the price mark ups. Here is a vid of a two races with the new 05 stangs.

They got an 05 for sale at the ford dealer 4 miles away from me. its pewter gray, its ok looking i think a diff color could do it a litte more justice and different rims. Best looking stang in a while and for 26k for a GT woooweee thats a lotta ponies for the money!
