    It's called adreniline baby!

I don't think I spelled that right, but that's the rush of horomones going through your body.

Not to mention testosrone <=== agian with the spelling.

I had the race of my life recently against a 99 WRX - just like mine.
I didnt get the shakes but as I changed from 2 to 3rd and started pulling away I got the most amazing surge of adrenaline which upped my heartrate from high to screaming.

    Awesome.

    Love that stuff.

I get the foot jitters when I'm going off the line against something hot/fast. Roll ons don't do it to me at all like the feeling of catching a light w/a Lightning, Vette, 911, etc., where you have to sit and wait for a minute or two, as the anxiety and tension builds toward the moment of launch when the light turns green. Unfortunately, I usually don't need to launch, so I rarely do, as I can reel in almost anything I'm against. Its the races where I know I need to nail the launch that really give me the jitters.

The shakes will set in, and my whole body is charged w/the excitement...it makes launching at least 3 times harder w/the foot jitters. Cost me a race against a Lightning the other night, too, as I bogged so hard he pulled 3 cars on me off the line, and I couldn't reel him back in before he shut down at 90 mph. We looked so disappointed and shrugged his shoulders and mouthed, "What happened?"

I said, "I f-cked up..." We were both dissapointed. Truth be told, the foot jitters set in worse than usual for that race, and cost me badly. Dam, I want that one back.

I get the jitters at the track too, but only a little bit. Not like on the street, where things are less predictable, more random.

Used to happen a lot since before my STi, I was driving a 17 second accord and lost to grandmothers in newer Toyotas

Clutch foot will shake if Im up against a muscle car... not so much with newer Corvettes or anything like that... less pressure on me there. No need to show the guy with the new car that my new car is just as fast... the guy with the old car might not know what my car is though...

My leg has never shaken but both my hands fell asleep to the elbow when I nearly slid into a car entering a corner too fast. I hate adreneline...

I definitely get the shakes when I'm lining up. But as soon as it's go time, that's gone and I feel like an extension of the car. And then when it's done and I've won or lossed, my heartrate jumps for a minute!
