The rear scoops are functional as they direct cold air to cool the brakes. There are two kits out there for the C5. One you actually have to cut the rocker panel and bolt the scoop on the car with the functional tunnel to cool the rear brakes. The other is purely rice with double sided tape on it. So...
Scoop w/ complete kit and cutting holes = functional mod
Only the outside piece w/ tape = Rice C5

I decided against doing it on mine as the rear brake is not as important as the fronts. If I see fade, it will come from the fronts first.

Good race, it is believable as C5 drivers are really bad drivers. Myself included

who are you, and why are you here? First off, Z06's are not that rare. I have seen many many of them around. Probably the best performance bang for buck on the market. They are not that rare. Second, for someone that says how fast they are, you should know that for a z06 to run a 12.9 the driver must have missed a shift. they will run 12.5's all day long in the 04+ models.

third, ROBPA is not lying about beating a Z06. His car was a 10sec car if memory serves and if you read his sig, it even says "11 sec auto club". please use more logic when posting from now on. thanks
