are you stock? If so, from a roll he'll pull on you. From a stop you should own him up to say 75 or so. Then he'll probably pull past you. (assuming that you're stock)

    a FIREBIRD?? As in a v6? Or a trans am?? As in a v8??

    If it's the 6, you'll win...if it's the 8, you won't stand a chance with the stock turbo.

I was about to ask the same thing, plus you've got the 4EAT which with the stock TC isnt the best thing in the world at drag racing. Just vacuum lock it and try to stall as high as you can. If he wants to run some more wait at least 5 or 10 more mins for the tranny to cool down.
13.2 @105 with the old auto. Now rockin a 4.44 standard tranny.

If he has V8, then forget about it. He will pull on you like you are standing still.

If he has a V8, consider yourself toast. Better get a little shot of N20 of you wanna give him a run. I would say about a 75 shot at least.
This car is making a poor man even poorer.

Yea its a firebird...and by saying "you'll win", is that a certainty? Because i dont really wanna hear his mouth if i lose so if its gonna be too close im not gonna do it.

The V6 is freakin' pathetic. You should hose him unless you stall your car on the launch.

The 3.8 liter v6 F-body is *not* weak by any measurement. I've seen many v6s dip into the low 14s with cheap mods. From a roll, even a stocker would be a handfull for a stock WRX, moreso if the Subaru is an automatic.

The older 3.4 liter is a snooze generator for sure, but don't laugh at the 3.8s.
