Yeah, its about damn time they did. The Bowtie Boys have been waiting 17 YEARS for them to make something that isn't slow in the entry level price bracket! Hell, even the Termi to the 01-02 SS is a race!

Agreed! Although they've lost weight it's still heavier than I'd like to see, it's going to be pretty nice.

Uh, it does come with a six speed. And it actually gained about a hundred lbs. They will weigh in about 3600 lbs now. The Camaro is only at about a 200 lb disadvantage now.

The press release from Ford has them getting fatter. For the 2014 model year, if I remember correctly, Camaro is supposed to go to the Alpha platform which should be smaller and lighter. No word on Ford or Dodge getting any lighter. Though the insane crash test standards aren't helping things at all.

You raced a fake SVT. Fake badge, etc all thrown on a stock v6 or GT. Sorry. No way. I see fake SVT all the time. Even saw a fake SVT with the SKYLINE GTR badge...sorry to dump on your party.

Tell that to the new Camaro. It seems to have an identity crisis as it actually handles quite well (or so I've heard).
