The Skyline is here now. The G35 is the Skyline In Japan. What we don't have is the GTR version. Right Now there is no GTR, and Nissan is deciding what the next generation GTR should be. The two schools of thought are a VQ35DETT (Twin Turbo V6) or a VQ45DE (NA V8). It was a sad day last year when the last of the RB in line sixes rolled of the line.
As far as the GTR Coming to America, Nissan did say it would, and the new car would be built to meet World Wide Standards.

You can buy R32-R34 already from company's like Motorex. They aren't cheap though.
the skyline has been discontinued I think and the R34 was the last model. I think nissan are gonna put out some other super car to replace it

The R34 was the last Skyline GTR produced. It has been annouced it would be out of production for about a year now.
The R35 GT-R Concept is just that. There will be a New GT-R, it's just not sure what will power it yet.
BTW, the Skyline has not been discontinued, just the GT-R. The Jap Spec Skyline is our G35. The will get the new Skyline coupe about a month before we do.
As far as Nissan bringing the new Skyline Gt-R (R35) over, it will be at the Infiniti dealerships anyways

would reason would it be at infiniti dealerships it will be the NISSAN skyline not the INFINIT skyline....hondas don't sell acuras on their lot..it's all the same...no Celicas on a Lexus lot..ya know
In Japan it would be the Skyline GT-R, here it would be just GT-R to go along with the new "G" line of Infiniti's.
To simplify it a little:
1)the 35th GTR is NO LONGER a Skyline.
Its just GTR R35, where GTR is forever separated from the name Skyline.
2)The new 35th Skyline is already out in Japan. Its a big sedan.

As far as the Skyline and GT-R Being seperated, that use to be true, but they are bringing them back together now. The New GT-R will be built off of the new FM Chassis. It will share it's dimensions with the G35 Coupe, 350Z. It will wear different sheet metal though and have a unique drivetrain.
The GT-R Concept was a FM Chassis as well.

not really looks like a cadilac STS i like the cersion of the skyline that we see most around here or in like a video game or in pics..with the circle tail lights and the front like an old wrxOriginally posted by mhoward1
