But like I said I now have 300 lbs of tourque at the wheels (which is like 365 at the crank ) and 278 hp at wheels which is around 360ish... but stock for stock the M3 will dominate. Now this freind of mines father has a CTS-V and wants to race the M3 and me sometime this week... I will definatly try to post my Dyno sheet this week.. I think it's amazing that ecutek, full exhaust and downpipe give such amazing results.. anyways today was fun and we were very carefull about it BTW- I don't do stupid **** and race like a ass-hole on streets.. we went to a total industrial rd whic hwas completly empty.. that is why we waited until sunday...

z's can run into 13's.....13.7 was what it ran at the last road and track challenge with rx7 and s2000..and z's now are trapping 101-103.....

hmm... I see that 13.777 seconds and I see 14.1 so I guess it depends on the weather and model of the car ei- touring/performance and track (which is lightest) in general tho I have seen Z's pushing 14 flat or high 13's . even tho they can't run with sti's let alone M3's ... There was this whole debate thingy when I had my z in my old forum my350z.com how Z's can take a STI from a roll becuase they said that the AWD in the STI slowed it down at high speeds and that these cars are very evenly macthed 350z 287 hp and STI 300 hp both weigh the same until this thread turned into a huge fiasco and sti's called out Z and back and forth they hosted videos multible videos of both these cars racing from a roll and the Z was alyways left behind... and these were stock Vs stock. The thing I lked about the z was the handling but hated the power... trust me when got my sti even stock it made my Z feel like a Hyuandai... LOL

yeah i agree....stock z will lose 2 stock sti off a roll everytime..unless you start at a really bad situation for sti ..2nd at 20 or something...also what i have noticed with the z is .is has torque everywhere so that adrenaline rush of boost coming in just isnt their..so it feels slower than it is...btw my wrx with dp/upcatback and mbc takes z's off a roll ..even at highway speeds..so i know they arent that quick..but still are quick

and like i said..its weird ..people have very different results with m3's...i guess it all depends on the driver...the point where they start the race..etc etc

If I had one car where there's snow, I'd prefer an STi like yours over a stock E46 M3, which is a great car. Nice runs!

WE knew it wasn't fair but I had to see.. next 3 -olls were from 40 mph i am in 2cnd gear 3 honks and i pull on him by end of 4th about 1-2 cars... next 3 runs - from 65 mph I am in 3rd same exac outcome... now the last bunch were from around 75-80 mph and we were neck to neck until aorund 130 mph whcih is were we stoped i was so peranoid cops would come around.. anyways .. Conclusion is that My sti pushing 375 at the flywheels could take a m3 smg convertible from any speed.. ( maybe top top speed it would pull but who races like that) He was very imprssed and is now looking into chipping his m3 ... this will never end. But bottom line is this.. I paid 30 k for my ride and dumped a total of $2700 and have a faster car than he does.. LOL.

Ok, so now can someone please explain to me how a STI with 275whp and 300wtq. is putting 1-2 cars on a bone stock M3 from a roll, but a Stage 2 WRX's with approx. 245whp are claiming to put as much, if not more, distance from a roll? I'm confused....

First off, how much does an exhaust really help the M3? Anyway, its irrelevant and yes, many people on this site with STage II WRX's are claiming to beat E46 M3's from a roll.

There is a vid of one that is proof, but like I said, in that thread people talk about WRX's being able to take down M3's with about 245whp.
