Raced a bike on the way to work

On the way to work this morning there was a street bike heading the same way. I just thought I'd see how fast it was compared to my car (I knew I was going to lose just having a little fun). He had all this cheetah fur all over the bike so I couldn't really tell what it was. Well anyway we were rolling about 40 and I dropped it into second, almost before I could punch the throttle he must have heard the engine rev and did a wheelie and pulled three car lengths before I could hit the redline. When we got to the next stoplight I got a good look at his bike. It was a new Ducati 999R. He said he was slightly over 160 hp, and I was like That thing was so fast.

if a guy pulled a wheelie and then handed me my @$$.. i would hide behind the steering wheel. Then i wouldn't pull up to him at the next stop. Heehee. nah, i'd probably tell him that my car makes 700hp and it was getting squirrely so i backed off. just to keep my ego.

I think the guy was ****ing with you... I`ve never met a Ducati owner (in real life, or on the net) that would put fur anywhere near their bike, maybe he said 900rr?. Nice "run", atleast you knew you didn`t stand a chance I had a kid in a Neon full of girls try running me the other day

The fur means he's a stunt rider, and a really avid one at that. The fur covers scratches, cracks and other broken fairing parts so the bike will look like it still is intact, although under the fur it's held together with zip ties and duct tape. More stunt riders are getting into V-twins cuz of the torque. If they can avoid that whole "oil starvation" thing that happens after 1/2 mile standup wheelies. A REAL engine doesn't need oil, it runs on red meat and beer.

uh...no...Litrebike is not > ESX wrx or the TurboTrix EVO.

The 2004 R1 is the fastest litrebike this year and it's like barly dipping into the 9's @<150mph. Last I checked the TT EVO ran a 9.7 @148 earlier this month

I had a go with an R1 (not sure what model year) on the highway... Wasn't pretty at all.... I "though" to myself that I was doing pretty well hanging with him up to 120mph, untl he dropped the hammer, and BAM.... Left me like I was standing still

Note to self.... Need MUCH more than 320whp to play with an R1 at all!

To think that I thought that my car was pretty quick with my 1820... Think I may be needing an FP green

You need a damn single turbo Supra or modded 03 Cobra to hang with bikes on the highway. It's all in the name of fun, so you saw a good biker do a cool wheelie and race off, so what that you lost it was all fun wasnt it?

Speaking of the Cheetah Fur...I hope you weren't racing a member of the Zoo Crew..

These bad muther****ers have fur on they're bikes and ride like animals..
They used to ride together until the "Bee" died and now they ride seperate..
They were in Florida but since they split you might have seen that guy where you are...
Wow...you got left in the dust though...
