Kids shouldn't drive cars like that. The morons...

Anyway, the times above are from Porsche, but it's important to note that
    1) German posted times are different thant the U.S. They do their times with a full tank of gas and 2 people in the car. (US manufacturers do it with little gas and one person)

    2) The C4S is the slowest Carrera in a straight line. It's the heaviest, so it's the slowest. A normal Carrera is slightly faster. They both run very low 13's however.

    3) Most Porsches aren't meant to be the king of the stoplight races. The Boxsters and n/a Carreras are the king of the road course, but not the stoplights.
The Turbo, GT3, and GT2 are a different matter. They are king of both.

Sorry to hear that yet another douche bag made Porsche drivers look like jackasses.
I promise, we're not all that way.

I usually don't run on the streets, but every now and then I'll play with someone regardless of make or model as long as they want to go. I find that most people who are 'challenging' me are really not trying to win, but just want to see it go. I've had freakin' mini vans rev at me.

    edit: I have a 2002 Twin Turbo

Stock Carreras are 320 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. That's for '02 and newer. '99 to '01 are 315 hp.

    Just FYI.

    They are quick though.

It would be a drivers race for sure.

Scott - Nice car, when I said "Big talkers" I meant ANYONE who does stuff like that... not just "Porsche drivers". I try not to group drivers of cars with the other drivers of their cars... just to be sure that I'm not offending you in any way, shape, or form

For instance, would anyone ever guess that I am a big muscle car guy driving a car with gold wheels, pink, and a big wing on the back?

    yah, i am restoring a 70 Skylark.

Oh, I never took it that way. Thanks for caring however.

I hate people who have that attitude regardless of vehicle. A true enthusiast likes all kinds, classes, and forms. I am here b/c I love the WRX even though I don't own one, I highly respect it. It's an excellent car.

Anyone who has the holier than thow attitude about their car is just asking for trouble and they make themselves look like a moron. The fact that this particular guy was in a Porsche just adds to the negative view many people have of Porsche owners.

Nice on the Skylark btw. I love older cars too. I had a '65 Mustang Shelby for years. I wish I hadn't sold it today. That car was a blast!

Nice tude. Fast car are just FUN, yours, mine, others. Just ran first 1//4 13.02 @ 103. Think 18" rims slow me down. Out ran 2 stock sti's. Got eaten by a 12.4 primo'd Mustang. Damn top mounts, don't cool down sittiing in line. Needed ice bag?

Wish I would not have wrecked the Tiger.
