which map were u running when u raced the evo?

are u still using the VF22? if not i missed what turbo upgrade u got. those are some great #'s.

Evo has better gearing than our WRX's too plus u had the passenger.

put in that 100 octane and run again w/ just u in the car.

should have a better outcome.

I think he is running an 18G turbo.

WRT the EVO gearing, they also have a tall 4th gear, but not quite as tall as ours IIRC.. Price you pay for lightening fast 0-60times while still maintaining a 5 speed transmission.

Well, his 4th was strong. If not for my 2nd and 5th then he wouldve won. I pulled him in those 2 gears. I was running my low boost but I will try to run my high next time but its tough because I dont run around my 100octane in my trunk to be able to pop it in and switch my map...sucks. He however said that he had a race map worth 360whp soooo....I guess we'll have to see. If he stayed the way he is now and I threw in my other map then I would walk him. But how fair is that ?..I should've done that the first time and kept it a secret...

Turbo Trix is the SH.ITthey do the work on my car, VERY big numbers, VERY fast, I will run it again tomorrow but I trapped @ 110 before my reflash, mmmmmmm


Fastest STock Turbo Evo I know of Runs what I have But has bigger injectors and a AEM EMS, 400WHP, a Full 50 more then my flash , and a 11.7 @118, I need an AEM, they own so much....

Thos EVo's never fail to impress with how much power is locked up in there from the factory.. It is a wonder as to why Mitsu doesn't bump up the power to 300 or whatever like the STi, while throwing on more cats if need be to keep emissions clean.

OHHHHH You can, just not in the U.S. In Japan and europe you can order an Evo from bare bones 260HP steel wheels and small breaks all the way up to 330HP, which runs a 12.7 @ 108MPH or so, stock.

Oh yes, I saw the Top Gear vids of the Evo8 FQ 320 tearing the WR1 a new one at the track...
Is the MR evo not out yet? If so, any impressions from the evo-drivers?

Fortunately (or unfortunately...however you look at it) Evo's aren't street legal up in Canada, so there aren't any on our roads... Except for a few that Mitsubishi Canada has brought up and disguised as OZ edtiion Lancers.. Not sure who they think the FMIC is fooling....
