first ricer kill, and fun with a 911turbo

Nothing too special just some dummy in an automatic accord with a watermellon launcher in the back. He also had power adders such as stickers and a HUGE wing, some neon BS in the cabin, and a loud stereo. We got caught at a light at about 12:30am last night. He revs, i snicker. I run (not very hard) to 60, hes easliy 7-10 cars back. We get caught at the next light... he revs, i run to 60 same result. We get caught at a third light (getting tired of this yet?) , he revs (yes again) I rev back... he neutral drops, spins the tires as long as he can, while i slowly pull away from the light. I'm suprised there was no flyby involved.

So about 1/2 hour later I'm on Lake Shore Drive (Chicago) heading north, when i finaly get a break and get around the blockade of slow moving traffic, as i get out ahead and start up the bridge over the river, and 911 turbo flys by at at least 100. Didn't think anything of it (wasn't gonna chase him down), but we get caught at the light at Chicago Ave. We line up and take off, we are the first to cars out , and head into that 4 lane S curve, 90 degrees to the left first then 90 to the right. We both took the corner at about 80-90 (coulda been faster but don't want to die) after the left i shut down, comming out of the right there is often a cop waiting for people to come flying around that corner, so i shut down, flashed my brights and put the hazards on. He either didn't see me or didn't care, and went SCREAMING around the right corner. Just as i came around the corner I saw a cop flip the lights on and go after him. I tried to give warning... oh well. I saw him a mile or so up pulled over. Thats gonna be a heafty ticket 100+ in a 45 ,ouch!

So no major kill or anything, just a fun drive home last night. Poor guy in the Porsche...

Hefty ticket my @$$!That's go-to-jail-time if the cop wants to push it.I just love when things like that happen though(flyby followed by him passing a cop).Wise move to let off.

wow. That's a pretty crazy place to take off from. The curve is pretty soon after the light.

Glad you didn't get the ticket. Cops LOVE to spot just after the second part of the "S" near Division.

Remember the guy they arrested a while back who was trying to hit 200+ on his sport bike!

Gotta love the LSD.
