I been looking at the '05 Legacy GT (Turbo) - I think it is a really nice car, I also want to take a WRX for a test drive. I have to see for myself what the most fun car for under $30K is. But as for going for a car, the '05 Legacy looks very attractive, and I hear it's the same engine as the WRX STi, but instead of having 16 psi of boost like the STi, it is detuned to 13.5 psi of boost, I'm guessing the '05 Legacy GT is very easy to get up to the 300 hp mark - for all we know the '05 Legacy can be a S4 killer with a few mods. BTW.... I think my first mod I'd look into would be blue leather in the interior (2 tone - blue/black).

If they made the G35 coupe with AWD - I'd be all over it. LOL
The 350z - I hate to give up rear seats and cargo space.
'05 Legacy - looks like one very fine car.
WRX - I went to a dealership yesterday and I really like it, this week I'll test drive it.

You can't compare the WRX, Legacy, G35 coupe, and 350Z. The G35 coupe, Audi TT, and 350z are in a different class than the WRX and Legacy. Now you're looking at luxury vs performance and a huge difference in prices. Bottom line is, if you can afford a car like the audi TT or G35, go with that. If your price range is in the low to mid $20,000's then the WRX or Legacy would be fine.
All depends on what you want. Anyways, this is just my opinion
