for the most part, you are correct.

went out racing last weekend and a friend with an rsx-s with exhaust and intake pulled a about 2 cars on a stock wrx from 45-110

they didnt bother from a dig because the outcome would have been obvious though. i wanted to run against the rex but we were fearful of the cops.

i have been waiting to race a stock rex from a roll for over 6 months now!

You have a VF30 and no engine management is this correct?

yeah but there are alotta cars out there that have the power to pull on a wrx from a roll. From a launch its almost no fun getting 5 car lenghts out the gate - but from a roll its a totally different story

Its the fact that you have a VF30 with no management. Once you get the fuel mods and utec in, you should pull away with ease from that car. This has been said many times, but the WRX doesn't have great top end and you guys raced from a roll right? The RSX is reliant on its top end. Thats honda/acura's trademark, just as the AWD launch is for the WRX. So all in all, i think the raced turned out exactly how it was suppose to.

actually its not dumb at all. I know many people who run vf30's and 22's w/no em at all at lower boosts. Sti's ran em so why cant we? They run fine. Just my .02 from my experiences. People told me not to run my stock intercooler w/ a vf 22 and I did for over a year w/ no issues.
