    350z Test drive...poor guy

I'm sorry to post another z kill but I had too..

On my way home from work I am just driving and minding my own business. This brand new deep grey z pulls out of the Nissan dealership fishtailing. I proceed to speed up to the next light. I look over and the kid is taking a test drive w/the young salesman in the passenger seat. I give him a little rev to show him Im intrigued since he keeps looking at my car like his possible new car is soooo much faster/hotter. I rolled off in first and by the end of 1st I was 1/2 car in front and by 2nd's end I was 3 cars in front and pulling. He then pulled up and looked really befuddled...its a shame I thought. He had'nt even bought it and he is already suffering losses. He then asked me what kind of car I had ???? I laughed and said It was a kia. He said wow that thing is quick....Funniest encounter yet for me. He thought my car was a kia....Oh man...dont they teach these kids anything now days....

P.s: my car was on the low boost map at only 18 psi. His car to his defense was new/stock/1 extra passenger but still it felt good, because "most" z drivers think they are the S$$t....

Oh no doubt. The car was hotttt....I just hope he still bought it...I know if I test drove a car and on my test drive I lost a race I probably would not purchase that car...

This is a good strategy for getting kids not to buy 350Z's...

haha, that is awesome. I would of loved to hear the conversation between the salesman and the driver afterwards. Especially if the salesman goes back and tells people Kia is making cars faster than the Z hahaha

Hahaha, no kidding...if they thought your car was in anyway related to a Kia, they know nothing about the performance world...

I absolutely LOVE to see sports cars out on test drives. I pull up next to them in what most people *think* is a riced econobox b/c of the big rear wing and especially if it's a younger guy, they'll give it a whirl.

My two favorites were smoking a new Mach 1 on a test drive and a kid testing out a Civic Si (I knew that wasn't a contest). The kid in the Civic pulled up next to me at the next light and was like "What kind of car is that??? Subaru? I didn't know they made fast cars, you took off like a *****!!!"

I just smiled and said it's a WRX STi and told him to go down to hte local Subaru dealership and take a look. I'm pretty sure he didn't end up with that Civic b/c it was still at the dealer a few weeks later

Its a priceless situation. I absolutely love talking to my competition before and after I win.

p.s: I do lose every once and awhile...I think I ve lost 6 times....ITs good that I can remember every car too. I however cant remember the ones I have beat...too long ofa list. Im sure alot of you share in my pain.
