It might be an RS. That is the only way. Unless the driver hit a 1.4 60ft.

Any track where an EVO is getting 12.6 stock and an STi is getting 12.4 stock has issues. If both those times were run on the same track, then the track is BOGUS and giving very optomistic times.

The only other option is two drivers not telling the truth about mods. I know Mustang guys with full exhaust, headers, NOS..... blah blah blah who say they are "stock" becuase they havn't changed out the internals of the engine yet.

Sometime there are these freak units that overperform or underperform from the norm. Maybe its one of those.

We have a down=hill track in nc. You have to hold the e-brake in the staging lane.

I know someone who claimed 12.6 in a stock Evo. It's BS...not happening, just like you won't see a stock STi running 12.4. In order to do so, you'd probably have to lose most of the car to cut weight enough, which isn't worth it and I don't count as "stock."

12.9 with a stock Evo is probably possible, though I have yet to see it. 12.6 is very likely out of the question. 12.4 with a stock STi is pure conjecture. Unless, like the previous poster said, the track is suspect. Show the timeslip or video, otherwise, a big NOPE!
