    me (sti) vs. svt cobra

it was around 10pm when i was minding my own business when a black svt cobra comes to my driver side moving back and forth just waiting for me to downshift. i was going about 40mph.. i knew that i wouldn't stand a chance against a cobra on a rolling start especially from 40mph... but i thought.. what the hell~~ so i downshifted to 2nd and the race was on. until mid 3rd gear we were neck and neck then suddenly, the cobra took off like i was in stand still.

well. i gave him thumbs up for a job well done... i guess he wanted to talk so we pulled over. seemed like a real cool guy. i asked him what he had done to it.. apparently he had all the boltons with a higher boost setting. that made me feel a little better about my loss~ hehe btw my STi is stock.

    Nice death
I raced an 03 Cobra from a roll in my STi when it was stock. It was a really close race from a 1st gear roll up to about 80mph. Lucky for me we let off at 80mph. They seem to take a while to get their act together. But when they do , its all over.

When I raced a modded Cobra (that traps 116mph) from a dig, I was able to stay out in front of him up to about 80-85mph or so . Then he pulled away from me with ease. Like I said, right around 80mph or so they really get going.

so it was an 03,04 you raced, then? Good death. They are fast and the faster you go, the harder it will pull...
