I get together with a lot of sports imports locally on the weekends and online. I always feel like I am way too old to be hanging out with these guys. But to me, at my age this is the car I have been dreaming of since I was 15... sigh

31 years old. I usually don't go to the "Import car scene only" events, because like you said, the crowd is a little younger than I. One thing I have noticed is that if you look at Hot Rod magazine, everyone is older and SMILING. I have a copy of Sport Compact Car, and everyone has their game face on.
I guess I'm the "old fart" at 36. Even though I dont have a whole lot in common with the younger crowd, I find that I have even less in common with people my age. I'll probably always be a kid at heart.

I'm 18 right now and turning 19 in July.
The WRX was a dream car for me when I was 16 and I never thought I would get it. Now I do, and I'm able to pay for it all, payment, insurance, gas, and modifications. Next on my list is getting the hell out of my parent's basement.
