    Stg4 vs TA Firehawk

    3 races from 40 mph roll.

    1st race I pulled 5 car lengths by end of second gear (he was in 3rd gear.)

    2nd race he downshifted to 2nd. >5 car lengths by 95 mph.

    3rd race the same...

    1997 stock firehawk (they're rated at 315 hp)

    1. How do you like the 18g.
    2. does it hold boost till redline ?
    3. what kind of whp do you have ?

    P.s: Nice kill. I just ordered an 18g from fp so thats why I ask.

    Nice kills. Not all Firehawks are worthy of a Stg 4 WRX, but a few are...

    1. love it!
    2. 20 + psi all the way to redline... never tapers (max hp at 7200 rpm ) (even in first gear! It actually starts to break the tires loose around redline )
    3. around 300 awhp with 91 octane (dyno tuned with ecutek)

    However, toluene and DeltaDash is a wonderful combination!!

    It's pretty funny actually. The guy works with me and has been so excited about his car (he just bought it 2 weeks ago). I told him a couple times that I would probably inch him out on a highway roll. I didn't even expect to do as good as I did...

    He was cool about losing, but pretty sad about his first loss.

    Nice kill. But I must say, if he was in third when you were in second, he doesn't really know what he was doing.

    Good kill nonetheless. LT1s are still fast cars, even if they are a little dated. The 18g sounds like it is a blast.

    Very well done.

    For reference purposes a 1997 Firehawk is about a 13.9-14.0 second car.
