    Me vs. cammed LT1 z28 from a roll

    I just raced my buddy from a roll the other day. He just got his car back up and running after the cam install(his computer lost connection and screwed up his flash chip). He has LT1 Z28 with a high stall converter, headers, catback, throttle body, intake, hotcam, and a tuner. We went from a 20 roll and a 50 roll both up to about 110 and I ended up pulling him by about 2 and a half cars. Not bad for a really conservative map and low boost 16.5psi. I made 280 to the wheels with a more aggressive map on the dyno(Dyno Dynamics) on crappy gas.

    But, two days later... I raced my other friends heads/hotcam, header, true duals, intake manifold, lid with direct ram air mod, and ls1 edit 98 WS6 that put 367 to the wheels on pump gas without the heads.... hehe... I got walked pretty hard!! If we would have kept on going over 110 he would have absolutely left me(already had me by about 3)

    How's it going? Have you tuned your turbo up to 23psi yet? Phil was comfortable running that on my set up (which is very similar to yours).

    Man those F-body's can be so mean when they are hooked up, I love the sound of lumpy cams going through a tuned exhaust.
