    Arrow 3000gt Vr4

What this is just what ive been waiting for...
My Girl and I are takeing a ride..(it just finished raining) so the roads are wet...
and at the light here comes a 3000GT VR4...
so it's AWD vs AWD.... SUBARU vs. MITSU.

ok ok to the point... we raced 3 times
1st time i got him at the 1st light, launched at 5grand... and let the ass wooping began..
he kept up like 1 car length behind...
2nd... i was getting 2 happy... and jumped from 5 ot 6... oh oh... and my car (peeled the **** out) and he got ahead... but i caught up by 3rd gear... I think that car is too heavy... or the guy don't know how 2 drive man...
3rd time i was kinda mad.. cuz i didn't smoke him... then i put the pedal to the metal... launched at 4500 to make sure i didn't peel out... and smoked him really bad...he played it off like he stoped and make a U turn....

it was an ok race... but i think i could have driven better... i know he was not stock 4 sure... his car was pretty loud

and i wish i had better tires with 17"s
oh well if i did... I feel sorry 4 his ass...

I actually considered a 3000gt purchase, then a friend who owned a black one talked me out of it.He had some reliability issues with the car,but other than that,he said it was a rocket.

you're right about 3000's being too heavy. They weight 4000lbs, at least the older ones. They are nice cars, one of my friends had 2 of them, but stock or even with a few mods, they aren't that fast bc of weight.

VR-4's do not weigh 4000 lbs. Mine weighs 3800 lbs. I know it's not a big difference, but just get your facts straight. As for the race? what are your mods.
I went to the track last week and saw a couple of WRX's running.
One was silver, one was blue. They ran high 14's@94-95 MPH.
i ran 13.92@98 MPH with a 1.8 60'.(my top end sucks, slipping clutch?)
Anyway, sounds like you had a good race.
dug-e-fresh, did you race that '99 vr-4 again? i know you guys were going to set something up.

The second version, 94 and up I think? weighs around 3800, but the first ones weighed 4000 w/the adjustable suspension, adj exhaust tone, etc. So yes I do have my facts straight. And bone stock I went a 14.3, which is the same time my friends 91 VR-4 ran stock.

You're still wrong, 91-96, they still weighed 3800 lbs.
'97+ they went down to 3730 lbs.

when i asked for mods i was talking to suby miami, but thanks for your anyway. My stock VR-4 is running the ET 91-93's are supposed to run with a lower MPH. This is alittle bit of bench racing but i should be running 13.5@102 stock. When i get my car fixed, i'm sure i will run that.
