Stock WRX vs Turbo Corolla?

Guy at a Autozone just Turboed is Coro!
My first reaction was....... Why?

Sell the car, and get a better platform to mod on.

That said, how do you think it will run against a Rex basically stock(axel back)?

no idea... never heard of people doing that... depends on the turbo size of course.

Don't be such a wise guy, I would roast your rex in my modded corolla, depends on year anything above a 98 and you will be pretty safe. If he has a 98+ more than likely not running anymore than 6-8psi at best he may crack the high 14's

Why do people care so much about who mods what car?
I never understood that - especially when you look at the fact that most V8 guys can't understand why we'd waste our money on these cars and the mods when you could pick up a LS1 for super cheap and mod the hell out of it.

Its all relative and different people have different passions and goals. WTF does anyone really care?

DUDE why would you mod an RSX...why not start off with a good platform like...a viper or skyline or Nsx...I mean you could of atleast started with a car that has 400 hp

I just dont know why if your going to try to make a fast car, why would you be like "hey ill go get a corolla" just doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me, but oh well. good sleeper factor.

Cause of money that is why. I was 18 when I bought my first car by myself, the import scene kept me from selling drugs and hurting people now I am 28 still have the corolla among other cars and it runs 12.3's (until I had to send my E.M.S back for an upgrade) but most people don't have that kind of money to start off. I couldn't afford the engine swap I wanted until I was 25 and then the custom turbo kit until 26. No I have a better job and very happy that I lived this long so don't knock people they gotta work it with what they have.

I'm not knocking on anyone. But in all price ranges there are always other used cars that can be had with more "potential" but whatever. I'd love to see the pics of a 12.3 corolla. .Seriously, post em. Thats not callin BS or anything, im interested.

Well see that is why, you mod a Corolla so that you don't hurt people or do drugs. Not only can you make a Corolla fast, but it can solve all the problems in the middle east.

I dont know...that isnt my car of choice either. I wouldnt be caught dead in a corila even if it had 12 second slips to back it. You just lose all the pimpness with one of those. And I think there are better platforms. But i've always had an "to each there own" type of attitiude when it comes to modding cars.
