Modded 97ish CObra vs. modded WRX

For once I actually was the one to instigate it. I was on the freeway and saw the 1994-1998 Mustang lights in front of me. As I got closer I saw the Cobra etching on the back of the car. He also had a very loud exhaust, and one of those three gauge pillars that goes to the left of the driver, near the windshield and driver window.
I let him hear my RFL BOV (gotta love it as an attention getter)

We did a pull from about 70, and he proceeded to DESTROY me. Probably 1.5 buslenths in about 7 seconds or so. I think I got cocky because earlier this month I beat a stock 2000 style GT on the freeway REALLY bad. I know that 97 Cobras come 312HP or so but this guy was DEFINITELY modded.

I would like to think I got beat by a blown Cobra, with the tri-gauge pod, that usually means foreced induction. Either way it was a good race, and we both gave each other a wave and thumbs-up afterwards.

My (speed) mods: turboback, 3" catback, uppipe, MBC at 1 bar, short shifter

who knows what he had...

The 94-95s came with 240hp, the 96-98's had 305hp...

with just bolt ons, the 96+ are BEASTS...but yea, he easily could have had a small shot...if he had a blower I think you would have known...Think my car on Steroids, cause those engines LOVE air...
