Actually The Mazdaspeed pulled a .88g on the skidpad and the STi and EVO both got a .90g. Thats not that far off. After the factory tires wear off the STi or EVO, if you didnt replace those $1000 dollar/set tires I'd say they would be about the same.

Skidpad isn't the best way to measure handling. I would look at slalom speed first.

Mazdaspeed- 70.3
STi - 70.7
EVO- 73.1

Not the fastest but it holds its own.

im sure the mazda could outhandle the wrx, and the likes, but in any kind of slick situation, and the subaru/mitsu takes the cake...

were talking about wrong wheel drive vs awd. no tail out time for the FWD layout.

I wont buy a car that doesnt send power to the rears. My opinion of course... other than that, i have been in the nonturbocharged model, and man it hugs.

A protoge with a turbo is exactly that. A protoge. Same interior and engine just with a turbo. But no power. Srt-4 with a turbo. But its still a neon. Hella fast though!!!! Pisses on other cars easily. WRX with a turbo. Thats exactly what it is. A rally car with some street suspension. Cool. Powerful and comfortable. STI and EVO are in a different class in itself. Take it to the track and and find out for youselves which is the fastest. AutoX and drag strips that is.

Ride in my friends one all the time. Ok I guess. Try the STI's one. Integras are simple yet very effective in terms of sportiness that is. But can't beat the cockpit of those damn Porches.
