I caught a kid in a nice A4 1.8T at a light, we played a little up to the light. I was behind him at the light though, two lanes over was an 04 WRX. The light turnd and we took off, not a real launch but a strong take off. By 2nd I had changed lanes and was starting to pass him, by the top of 3rd I had passed him and was now passing the WRX... both guys were cool and gave the nod and thumbs up.
I can't wait to get my car tuned to it runs like its supposed toHA

lol...we're on a Subaru board, but I understand the confusion.
I too have a beast of an L...a '94 Impreza L AWD w/motor swap and TD05-16g turboKicker is that it weighs in at 2580 lbs and has never lost to a C5 yet in a half dozen roll-ons to over 100 mph(I know its not fair to compare a 12 sec car to a stock C5, but I have to agree w/someone's sig that says the look on C5 owner's faces is priceless). The closest one I held a one and a half car lead to over 140 where I let off (my gearing hits redline 5th at 151)...that C5 just kept going to probably 160+ even after I hit the brakes at 145ish

my bad, Ive never heard of an Impreza L...learn something new everyday.
Keep in mind, other than this board (since I love WRXs) all the otehr boards I post on are domestic, ie mustangworld, ls1.com, corral.net, etc etc...Hence my confusion. In domestic circles, an "L" means lightning.![]()
