Yeah, I didnt think they ever made them.. assumed it was rice.

AT LEAST, STi makes PARTS for the regular WRX. SVT doesn't make parts for a probe... nor do they make "parts" per say.

My neighbor has a stock WRX and puts STI logos wherever he can fit them. My O WRX smokes his wannabe STI. I cannot understand why people do that. God forbid he gets raced, everyone will post that they burned an STI. I do agree however that STI logos on WRX's that have a goodly amount of STI mods deserve a badge or two.

I thought they might be covers as I got them with the car from a private seller. The dealer said they are the real deal, and not covers. I am not sure as my dealer employs idiots. if anyone knows I would like to know for sure. I cannot find anything that indicates they are covers. Suggestions?

They are covers. They are probably made by "katskins" or something like that.

Check for zippers of any sort.

why would a svt escort be so funny. You obviously dont or haven't followed WRC much. Also the focus is the replacement for the escort. But, yeah read up on what cosworth did for the little escort that your poking fun at.

I should have mentioned AMERICAN Escort, not the one that is in the U.K. They are 2 COMPLETELY different cars.

    Sorry off topic.

Thanks for the feedback on my seats. I have been trying to find anything that would indicate slip ons or a zip on. There are no zippers. What else should I look for?

i checked to see if he was turbo(FMI) but i didnt see one, and there was no hood scoop. if it was a turbo then i would repect it enough to not care
Ive seen a couple Stang GT-Rs... It's actually a popular selling item to replace the stock GT fender emblems

The most popular ones in Tampa seem to be Mustang GT-Rs (limited run with the RB26DETT of course), Civic Type-Rs, and Probes, Escorts, and Tauruses with SVT badging. STi badging on non STi cars makes me a sad panda. Oh, the two ultimate badging trends here are the Japanese lettering on domestic cars and having stickers from at least three different tire companies (Nitto, Falken, Toyo...) on the same car, usually while running Wal-Mart brand tires. Damn kids.
