Stg 2 WRX vs Camaro SS

I was driving home tonight with 2 other people in my car, when i came across an SS. He revved up to see if i was down, which i was so i revved back. 1st run was from like a 65 punch, i was in 3rd gear, he took off just a little before i did. He pulled about half a car right away and kept pulling, by the time it ended because of traffic he was about 2 cars ahead of me. The 2nd race we punched from about 80 i jumped up about half a car after that he was gaining slowly by about 120 which is when it ended due to some cars he had about 1 car lead on me. I knew i would lose but i wanted to see how i would do. I'm pretty pleased with my cars preformance, but now i want more power maybe a new turbo.

    Thumbs up

I think you hung very well, and probably shocked the guy in the SS that you weren't fading back faster. Very nice!

good results. espicially from a roll, i am suprised you kept up so well. if you only lost by 2 or so cars from a 80mph roll, i am thinking you might have inched him out from a dig

Nice work, no shame in losing to him. I lost to a 300zx TT a month ago. YOu must have been speed shifting like a demon. What exhaust/uppipe are you running?

Nice run. Next time if you get a chance, run him from a stop and give him a little scare.

Thanks for the compliments, i thought i did pretty good too especially against an SS. I think it had exhaust because i seen one today and it had a more stock looking exhaust than the one i raced.

Was it an LS1? He never said it was. Everyone always assumes Camaros are LS1s. Couldn't it have been an LT1 or an LT4?

To clarify, I am not calling the results of the race into question, I just don't know why everyone always thinks this.
