    There's really no reason Mitsu HAD to do this. The EVO was winning every magazine comparison between the two anyway simply because of it's handling. They're just greedy bastards... ...they want to be faster on the dragstrip as well as the track.

    Anyway, I'm glad they did this. It brings another superb performance car to the market at a great price. And it also gives Suby an incentive to come up with something better.

    Personally, I'd like to see something along the lines of a 2.2-2.5 liter, fully closed deck, forged internals, avcs. That would be a killer engine to start with.

    Eh, I think its better than the curent EVO VIII BUT, I still think the STi is better, Ive driven both models (STI and EVO VIII) and i definitly prefer the STi due to no turbo lagg, with the MR having a bigger turbo and a 6 speed this might be something to invest in!
