WRX vs. LT1 suprising outcome

Streets were empty tonight as I came up to a long straight on a bridge. A late model Z28 was waiting for me at the light. It was not to be as the light turned green before I could stop. I did not want to take an unfair advantage so I went light on the throttle. I was hoping he would be a sport and line up with me for a run, but instead he floored it before we could take a fair stance. I returned by going WOT starting at 40. We took it to 90 mph with him not gaining an inch and me not pulling. He had no passengers and had a 6 speed, I could tell because he threw a rev at me before he turned off. With a couple of bolt-ons I think I faired well against the mighty LT1 (although not quite the LS1)

275 - 315 depending on the year. 275 for 1994 - 1995. 285 for 1996. SS and WS6 had 305 to 315 depending on the slp options you got.
