WRX vs VR6 Jetta and IS300

My friend in his VR6 and I in my WRX were heading out last night, and following each other. I knew right away that he would want to race. We got on the highway (freeway?) going about 120kph, and slowly creep up to 140kph, then he took off. So I take pursuit, but not for long. By 180 I BLOW by him, and keep on pulling away strong until about 220 and then i let him catch up. Aside from a modified intake his Jetta is completely stock.

On my way home, I came up behind a Lexus IS300. At a light we both took off side by side slowly. I was matching his pace to see if he would race. Halfway through 1rst gear he guns is and so did I. I pulled fairly easilly away, i wasnt even shifting fast. We got to another light and the guy and his friend were smilling. I like it when people take fun little races lightly. I gave him a thumbs-up and continued home. *siigh* good times
