    I have a stock 04 wrx sedan and I want to know how I compare to my friends dads 525i. I believe it is a 99 or 00. Just curious so when my friend and I go at it I should know the outcome. - Justin

    First off what are the transmissions in both cars? If the 525i is an automatic it won't even be close. My other car is a 99 328i with a 5 speed bone stock with a K&N. I can tell you the WRX will absolutely kill the 328i off the line. In a roll race I bet the WRX still walks the 328i to at least 100mph. Remember the 525 is a heavier car and has a 2.5 while my 328i has a 2.8. Even if this 525i is a 5 speed it won't even be close. Just play it off like you drive a cheapo car while he has superior German engineering, and line them up.

    eh, whats up with the double posting.

    a wrx should be able to easily handle a 525. Around 185hp and 3400lbs

    first there is no 99 or 2000 525i. The 525 came in 2001 after the facelift.

    second, it wouldn't matter because they are super slow.

    Ha ha... I couldn't figure out what was going on. I thought what 2004SilverWRX was saying was his sig so I ignored it.
