That's kind of like saying I just drive an Impreza. Technically it is and says it on the instrument panel. Did Dodge totally leave the Neon name off the SRT-4. Do they have a seperate owners manual? I was surprised to see the WRX sharing the same manual as the STI. I wonder is Dodge a little ashamed of the Neon's image when trying to push out the SRT-4? The SRT-4 is still a Neon in my opinion, but obviosly commands much more respect due to it's performance capabilities. You won't see those old "Hi" slogans or Cappucino decals on them thats for sure.
Sometimes, when people ask, I tell them I have an Impreza or a WRX...'cause I do. Impreza WRX STi. I just neglect to mention the last part...

Yeah I do the same thing depends on who I'm talking to though. If they don't know alot about cars I just let it at WRX. If they know one car from another its an STi.

Thats funny, because I'm the same. They ask me what I drive and I say a Neon. Then when they see what it can do, then they tell me it's not a Neon, just looks like one

I'm not surprised you beat anyone who would put different size wheels front/back on any Porsche. That just shows what a moron he is and also shows that he obviously knows nothing about driving, so he is going to be slow no matter what.

I'm very active in Porsche stuff all over South East Texas, and I've NEVER seen anyone do that. That is just plain retarded.

Porsches in general are about handling and not acceleration. Anyone who puts different size wheels on is obviously some idiot poser.

If people know nothing about cars I just tell them I drive a Subaru, or an Impreza, and let them think it's some piece of **** old Subaru. If they know about cars, it's a WRX.

IMO an SRT-4 is no Neon. A neon is a pos rental car, the SRT4 is far from that.

    Bahaha...own3d.

I've told a few people that I have "an Impreza"...the puzzled looks are priceless. I'd do the same with SRT and Neon, just to throw 'em off.

Pretty sure a lot of cars come with larger wheels in the rear from the factory, Porsches and others.

The dodge razer was supposed to have bigger wheels in the back when it came out, but I guess it's not coming out.

I just did a quick double check to make sure I was not crazy, and the Carrera GT comes with 19s in the front and 20s in the back. That is probably one of the greatest cars to ever be built. I am sure they did not put the bigger wheels on it for looks
