Good Kills![]()

Coming out of the office park, I slowly come to a stop at the traffic light. right before the light changes a jetta barely stops before going into the intersection right next to me. Okay, so it was a jetta...i still had to complete the kill. It was less than half a mile to the expressway with a light in between us. The jetta was dusted before I hit second gear. I got to the next light and when he finally got there, he rolled down his window and laughed. "I love that car! What is it?" I guess having a wagon is not a bad thing.
Second kill today...On the way home from our weekly trivia night, I pass a clearly modded accord at about 55mph...only, he did not want to be passed. I notice the sucker coming even with me so it is down to third and off like a shot. I moved into his lane with a good three car lengths of room and finally let off around 100 mph in fourth. he stays behind me but won't challenge. I have to turn right to head home. A wonderfully winding road...i try to wave him to follow but all i get is the middle finger...I guess he new better....
Just another wonderful day in my Blu Ru!

Good show! Can't wait for my silver wagon to get here next week.![]()
If they haven't seen or heard of the WRX wagon before, I'm pretty sure they're confused. On the one hand, they see the blue that seems to signal racer to them. On the other hand, they see this almost family sedan type car. Must be confusing. Although once you spank em, it won't be too hard to understand what your car is all about![]()

Working for a 22B or maybe a Legacy STi...one day
Heheh, silver wagons are cool! I saw an old old asian guy driving a debadged silver wagon on the freeway the other day and it was great because he actaully waived at me knowing that we have the same car![]()

You should say wheter the Jetta you beat was a 2.0, 1.8t or a VR6 or even TDI. There is a huge difference. I can say I beat an Impreza. But I could mean a 2.5RS when your thinking WRX.
As far as the WRX is concerned, its pretty inconsequential which type of Jetta he beat. He'd have to be driving pretty badly to even get smoked by a VR6.Originally posted by Larry1.8TTU

True, but a 1.8t is another story.

there is no contest b/w a rex and a jetta. a girl i was seeing had a 1.8T, and it's peppy, but that's about it. the girl i am chasing now has a new wolfsberg, which is basiclaly the same, (still a 1.8T) and it's the same (little tighter front end). they both pale in comparison.
anyway, the front wheel drive is a big weekness from a start. i'm not even sure their in the same class.

I raced a Jetta (VR6 or 1.8T, I don't know which) with my Escort ZX2 on the highway once. The Jetta tried three times to pass me an it couldn't. So I know the WRX will blow it out of the water.

I raced a Wolfsburg the other night and had 2 car lengths on him by 2nd gear. No challenge stock for stock.
