This is hardly an exciting story, but it was fun. I was driving around looking for curves last weekend in my, and I got to a two lane light leading into a merge to one lane. This young guy and his female companion pulled up in a Taurus SHO. Right away he start brake torquing. I notice it was an SHO and wasn't sure how that might go, but I was willing to try. Light green, he squawks a bit and we are about even. 2nd gear I start pulling ahead as the merge is nearing (I'm in the lane that needs to merge).

I shot ahead and disapeared.

From what I saw, my Sable wagon is as powerful as that SHO. Then again, Ford stop making SHO anyway. The Sable, by the way is a company car. If I owned a second car, it would be a WRX sedan.
