A.) Yes, yes I did...and it was a total waste of time...

B.) Yes, it can. WRX's arent anything awesome in stock form...ESPECIALLY if they arent driven to their max...its the street, anything can happen...Im sure a jetta has beaten a ferrari out there somewhere thanks to an asshat ferrari driver, but that doesnt mean that jettas are faster than ferraris...

in a situation like that its a driver's race. auto 330i is by no means slow compared to a stock rex.

the 330i is no slow car. the auto isnt exactly fast, but on the street its very possible, as is anything.
and the manual 330ci is good for mid 14's stock, which isnt far off from a stock wrx.

you dont have to represent everyone in the nation that drivers a wrx, there are a lot of crappy wrx drivers out there.... just represent your own car that you drive.

The only thing I see that's stupid, other than that site thinking all WRXs will fall to them, is the one comment on WRXs being overrated...though no one went on about it and it dropped there.

Driver = most important part of car.
Lightweight "mod" ueber driver = teh good.
Accounts there seem to say WRX driver was only your basic, factory, stock, non-upgraded driver.

I think a Step 330 means a semi automatic transmission.
Some BMWs now, especially the M series have a pre-emptive (or dual plate) clutch which guesses the gear you're about to select and gets ready to change for you. This means (according to my BMW fanatic of a mate) that when you actually change gears the cars auto-clutch changes gear in about 1/100th of a second. Not sure if the 330 uses this tho.
