I'd say that 7/10 times I launch I bog it. By this I mean it sort of goes, then hesitates, then goes. I'm sure you guys know roughtly what I mean because I've heard of other WRX users getting it too. It sucks when you're racing. Any pointers?

Im workin on the feathering-the-clutch thing. Its still kinda hard for me to nail consistantly.

If i'm going for a quicker launch on the street, I'm usually around 3k, as long as you don't let yourself let the clutch out too fast and keep the rpms up around 3k or so until the clutch is all the way out, you'll be fine.

I have the same problem. It's tricky, and I don't quite have it down yet either. It is so easy to bog like you mentioned. I find I do better when I'm making sure there is plenty of gas. Don't be scared to mash the pedal a little more. I bog the worst when I try to do a quick launch from low rpm's or a stop.
