STi vs. CTS-V

Raced my wife on the highway tonight and got walked about 3 cars from 75 to 110 or so... I was in the STi. I must say, the V looked pretty nice hunkered down and pulling.

From a slow roll, 1st or 2nd gear, the cars are equal until the STi hits 4th, then the V takes over.

We all know what happens from a stop.

My only dilemma is which car to mod first - I think heads/cam/exhaust on the V is a no-brainer for mid-high 11's. After the UTEC is out, a GT30 will probably find a home in the STi. I will post new results with both cars after the mods.

It is basically a heavier z06. IT should walk the STI, I'm surprised it wasnt more of a kill. I would think that when that car hits 3rd gear it be gone. It has more power then the m5...I wonder which car is lighter ???? Time to do a search...I think it traps at 110 + mph...

Lucky me.. My father was selling Dodges when the SRT-4 came out.... and now he's selling Cadillac's...... so I get a whole fresh batch of salesmen drivle about how it's faster than my car.
