    Cool 1st Kill

Just got my WRX less than a month ago, and just finished the 1,000 mile break-in. The other day Im in my town and an A4 pulls up next to me at the stoplight. It was one of those weekend warrior older guys that like to show off their fancy cars. So he gets a little excited and starts to rev his engine, so I reply with a few revs myself, now a little nervous knowing this will be my first race with my new WRX, but more importantly my first launch. So the light turns green and of course I **** up the launch so bad that I stall! Boy was I pissed off! But luckily I was able to catch up with him at the next light to try again. The old guys laughing thinking to himself, Hasnt this kid had enough? Light turns green, I launch the car perfectly, my tires squelch, and Im off like a prom dress leaving the guy in my rearview mirror with a look of sheer disappointment in his little $$$sports car$$$. Ah yes, I got my retribution!

Uh, depends on what you mean by "really quick" most people have trouble getting them into the 13s.

yup!! a friend of mine ran 14.2xx's with his S4. I could keep up with my stock wrx up to 75-80. We never raced above that but im sure he would pull up high.

S4 and A4 are fast on the top end - not real good down low. My experiance - I know several people with A4's and one with a 1999? S4 - he can go around 170 MPH but his 1/4 mile times are around 13.9 or so (he has a "chip", exhaust and suspension upgrades - want the turbo upgrades but the cost is $8000 or so just for parts). He does the twisties really well with his suspension package.
