    Saw one yesterday...they look pretty good...this one was black, I noticed the dual exhaust and then the badging...the guy didnt want to play with the ls1 on the freeway though.

    How well do they handle?

    R32 is a nice car, and a good direction for VW to go in. Kinda heavy for a JETTA though. Also, I hate to say it, but it's not very powerful. I imagine the power is pretty tractable but it weighs 300-400 lbs more than a WRX, 150 more than the STI and it dynos 170-180 from what I have heard.

    Just curious, but don't airports use some sort of special ground asphalt where if u were to do high speed turns, they would chew your tires up after a day?

    ummm... i don't know about that one...i was at the mazda rev it up event at the El Toro Marine base and we were basically walking around on a runway...didn't seem any different to me...but then again this isn't a major airport or anything...?

    yah I dunno either. I just heard that airports use some sort of special asphalt so that it helps airplanes stop better when landing. I could be totally wrong though.
