Then he posted on the internet about it and ended up getting fired? I bet you 99% of the people on this site heard abot that crap. Why? Cause CRAP flows on the internet. Starts of as one little post and grows and grows and grows.
indeed you proved my point so precise as to an femtometer. This CRAP has gone on and on your opinion against mine blah blah blah thats all i hear so lets just stop i want to play some counterstrike.

mrdoctor I guess some of my words were taken too personally when nonetheless they were taken out of context. oh well

So what if the SRT is a Neon, the WRX is an IMPREZZA, a Subaru Imprezza. Who in the hell ever heard of an Imprezza, much less bought one before the WRX?

You guys who said I should have drove the WRX before the EVO were right but I also made the mistake of driving the SRT-4 right before the WRX which was a mistake too. The WRX is a VERY nice machine, the handling and the way it drove was better then the Evo and the SRT but I found it lacking the power the other 2 have. Its not really fair to compare the EVO since it is a step up but the SRT-4 is direct competition and I thought it was a bit quicker then the WRX and it also looks alot better IMO. Its clear that Subaru needs to step things up a notch to match the competition that has now come along, if they can maybe boost HP up about 20-25 and put some more torque at the low end, that would do a world of good. The list price ia also a bit to high IMO, sticker on the one I just drove was nearly $26K, I would without question spend the extra $2K-$3K to move up into an EVO or maybe better yet, save $5-$6K and go with the SRT-4. We'll see what Subaru comes up with as the rally car wars heat up.
the SRT-4 is a rally car? NO
the WRX is the top of the line Impreza? NO

the Impreza has actually been around for a good 10 years and it has been winning WRC races just as long. How many races has a Neon won? Why are you going to come to this board just to diss?

Since this thread is somewhat turning into a SRT WRX thing I thought I'd drop my feelings. Its hard to say it, but I LIKE the srt-4 somewhat. I love and hate that car at the exact same time. Its great its got power and the seats are hella comfortable to me. Heck the tranny and engine are holding up awesomely from what ive read with the mods people are throwing on, BUT the one thing that gets me is that its fwd..why did Dodge have to make it like that.

The WRX is a fantastic car, but just because it comes stock with awd dosent mean it can rock every car in the twistes, granted I dont think an srt-4 could hang with it in the twistes, but then again ive never seen the two race. I think if you did some suspension work to counter the understeer from a fwd car the SRT would be fantastic through the twisties.
ps- Drizze is the bomb, best srt-4 poster

    FWD usually has understeer.

RWD has oversteer. Oversteer isn't necessarily a bad thing

i'm sorry but winning the FWD SCCA rally championship is not something to get all excited about. its not even as prestigious as winning the junior wrc and we all know how prestigious winning the junior wrc is.
